Garam masala is a blend of spices " grilled ", the term garam in India meaning roasted. Several spices are therefore roasted before being crushed and ground. There is no real recipe for garam masala,  its composition varies depending on the region or country. This spice is rather used at the end of cooking to flavor, we do not cook ingredients with garam, you can also use to season vegetables.
